Konrad III, the The brilliant advisor to the Emperor, is an exceptional figure endowed with mental and cognitive abilities comparable to those of a computer. He belongs to the third generation of clones, a vital lineage for the empire, a bridge between the past and the present, as he preserves and perpetuates the vast treasure trove of memories and experiences of his cloned predecessors and past emperors.
The Konrads, in addition to being skilled strategists and diplomats, bear the legacy of the ancients, the living heritage of the empire. He loves the writer Aldous Huxley and often qoutes his phrase: “ Consistency is contrary to nature, contrary to life. The only completely consistent people are dead”
